NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS

Three large scale Nuclear Power Plants are under development & construction in Mersin, Sinop and Kırklareli with a total capacity of 13.680 MW. Akkuyu (4.800 MW), Sinop (4.480 MW) and Kırklareli (4.400 MW) Nuclear Power Plants will be a highly important energy resource for Turkey with other large scale energy investments including energy pipelines, refineries and renewable energy installations which will make Turkey as the energy hub of the region. The total cost of all three Nuclear Power Plants will be 62 Billion USD. Akkuyu Plant will be co-built with Russia and Turkey. Sinop Plant will be co-built with Japan-France-Turkey.
